About Me

I took a shot at a new life almost a decade ago, and I have never looked back. I am building my dream business and hoping to help other women along the way.
My story does not start off like a hallmark movie, quite the opposite actually. I left my small town and fell in love with this St. Louis man who showed me, love, like no other man had. He bought me a Nikon DSLR off eBay almost a decade ago and he let me do what I was passionate about and not just as a hobby, I became a professional photographer after having every kind of camera in my hand almost all my life (going all the way back to a pink barbie polaroid when I was 5). I have learned a lot of things about owning a small business and gone through multiple adventures (some photography related and some not). We started going to the beach and I fell in love. I wanted to experiment with beach-themed crafts and painting just for fun. In 2020 I lost my mother to suicide and I did a lot more painting as another form of therapy (besides regular therapy, which I can't recommend enough). I experimented with more and more and decided to start selling my coastal designs. I have always been a mental health advocate, but even more so after losing my mom. Running a business is hard, being a mom is hard, heck being a human is hard, and it's not talked about enough, so I decided to start talking about it. I hope if I even just make you feel seen for one of my life stories it makes this worth it. I am a designer and creator doing what I love.

Fast forward to now, I am very happily married to that same man that bought that camera for me, I am a mother to two beautiful boys, and a four-legged son as well. If you have followed me for even 5 minutes you can probably guess I'm obsessed with anything turquoise, and mermaids. I love traveling, especially to the beach, cooking in my instant pot and air fryer, painting is my therapy, and I also love listening to podcasts while cooking or working out.
I love sharing my stories and helping other women, I love that you are here, and I hope you decide to tag along with me on my journey. If anything you see on here speaks to you, please tell a friend and share away. I would also love to have you in my Facebook group where we all help each other and support one another on our journeys. We talk about goals, share ideas, and keep ourselves accountable for being consistent with our businesses.
